Solution to Galaxy Reverb After JellyBean Update

For some odd reason, the Samsung Galaxy Reverb performance drop significantly after update to JellyBean 4.1.0. Issues ranging from:

  • Freezing
  • Drop Calls
  • Self Restart
  • Slow Perfermance
  • Lock Screen unable to open

After several trial and errors, a simple hard reset might solve your issues

Try doing one of the following: Try to hard reset your device using the hardware buttons
1.Turn Off the device
2.Press and hold down the Power button and Volume Up Button for about 10-20 seconds
3.The phone vibrates and lead to the recovery screen
4.Us
ing the Volume button go to "Wipe Data/Factory Reset" option and select it using Ok button
5.Select "Yes" to confirm the factory reset
The datas are all erased and device restart automatically..

You can also use this code *2767*3855# to factory reset ..It will delete all your datas including contacts,messages etc;So make sure you backup your files in your mobile..

How to set up Yahoo! Mail on your Android device

This article describe how to manually configure your Yahoo! Mail account on an Android device using android email app.


To set up your Yahoo! Mail on Android device manually:
  1. Select the Email icon on-deck.
  2. Enter your Yahoo! ID and password.
    • If an error occurs ("Setup could not finish, etc."), select Manual Setup.
  3. Select IMAP for type of account.
  4. Enter the following server setting information:
    • Incoming server: android.imap.mail.yahoo.com
    • Port #: 993
    • Security type: SSL (accepts all certificates)
    • Outgoing Server: android.smtp.mail.yahoo.com
    • Port #: 465
  5. Keep all other settings the same.
  6. Complete the remaining setup process. 
  7. You can use android email app to setup Gmail account as well
  8. For Gmail accounts just email address and passcode.
