My New $550 Hackintosh Mojave

My Hackintosh Build (March 31, 2019) Part 1

Didn’t want to spend a lot of money. But with patience, I was able to acquire most of my parts at discounts. Also I wanted to be able to upgrade easily in the future. The motherboard was the most important factor (Ugradable & Compatibility). It support up to 64GB of Ram and Thunderbold Ready. I started with 8Gb that’s plenty for now.

After spending over 3 months researching. I've notice all these expert build
their system with the most expensive parts.

Don't forger Uber.           $37

Requirements:

Mojave from Apps Store
Clover Bootloader (Global Version)
Clover Configurator
8GB USB Stick
Phillips Screw Driver
And finally: Patience

Everything works so far, except issues with Shutdown and Restart.
Apps Store, iMessage, iCloud, Ethernet all works out of the box.
I had to add sound and ethernet kext after install (easy)
Need to order a wifi and bluetooth PCie Card.

After all done with 14.2 installation, I updated to 14.4. Nothing breaks. This build is super fast. Photoshop and final cut pro loads up quick.

How to Build specs will be in the next post.

Improve the desktops multimedia experience in OpenSuse 12..2

Since the default openSUSE installation doesn't provide the ship codecs for any of the restricted multimedia formats like mp3 we need to install them manually. There is a famous "one-click" installation procedure to overcome this predicament here .

I use this  recommended one-click for gnome desktop is named "codecs-gnome.ymp". That is it, click on the one-click installer and be ready with the trusted mouse and click on "Agree / I trust" buttons that appears endlessly one after the other.

After the YaST installation exits press "Alt+F2" which opens the command launcher and type in "r" into the command launcher. This will refresh / restart your GNOME 3.X desktop.
